Delete Your AppEvidence Account
You can request deletion of your AppEvidence account and the data associated with it from this page, whether or not you still have the app installed.
If you can still sign in to AppEvidence
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app, where deletion is completed through your signed-in account:
Open AppEvidence → Account → Delete Account
This confirms your identity automatically and starts deletion immediately.
If you no longer have the app, or can't sign in
Send a deletion request to our support team.
Email Support to Request Deletion
Please include the email address or Google account you used with AppEvidence so we know where to start. Naming an email address, display name, or account ID does not by itself identify or confirm anyone's account, and it is never sufficient on its own to delete one.
Please don't attach screenshots or evidence files to a deletion request; they are not needed. Emails to support may be processed with AI assistance and are kept as described in Emails you send to support in our Privacy Policy.
What happens after a request
We do not disclose whether a given email address or account exists on AppEvidence, and submitting a request does not by itself delete anything. Deletion is carried out only through AppEvidence's authenticated in-app flow, driven by your own signed-in session — the same flow described above. Support cannot delete an account on your behalf by any other means; where we can, we will point you to how to regain access so you can complete deletion yourself.
What is deleted, and what is retained
- Your Firebase sign-in identity and any active sessions are removed as part of deletion.
- Your subscription and testing-session records are deleted: purchase records, encrypted purchase tokens, plan status, and your free-trial and monthly session counts.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in Google Play to stop future charges. Google Play keeps its own records of your purchases.
- Immediately after deletion completes, a short-lived completion receipt and recovery token are kept for up to 24 hours to guard against an interrupted deletion, then automatically removed.
- A minimal technical record confirming that your account was deleted (no usable account content) is kept for up to 30 days, after which it is automatically removed.
- If you started any free-trial sessions, a one-way coded free-trial marker is kept so that a new account on the same Google account does not receive those trial sessions again. It records only how many of the 5 free-trial sessions were used. It contains no email address, name, account details, evidence, purchase or testing-session content, or device identifier, cannot be turned back into your Google account, and is not linked to your deleted account. Because the free trial is once only, it has no fixed time limit: it is kept until it is used to set up a new account on the same Google account, and is then removed. If you never started a free-trial session, no marker is kept.
- The version of AppEvidence published on Google Play does not collect diagnostic data, so there is none tied to your account to delete.
- The app's own stored data for that account is removed from your device once local cleanup completes on that device.
- Evidence packages you exported are not removed. Files saved to your
Downloads/AppEvidencefolder, and anything still in the olderDownloads/DevBridgefolder, are your own files. Account deletion leaves them exactly where they are — delete them yourself if you want them removed. - If your device is lost, reset, or the app is never reopened again after a deletion request, our servers can still safely finish deleting your account — we will not falsely report that your device's local data was confirmed erased if it wasn't.
- Once your account is fully deleted, the same Google account can be used to create a new, separate AppEvidence account. Free-trial sessions already used are not given again; any that remain are available to the new account.
